What are the capacities of our various rooms?
Keep in mind that although are rooms are private they are not entirely sound proof. We will make every effort to enhance audio in our private rooms where possible.
We have four private spaces in our restaurant. They are as follows:
The Dom Perignon
The Dom Perignon room can seat comfortably 14 guests for an intimate dinner. There is ample room around the table to mingle over a cocktail and some hors d’oeuvres prior to dinner.
For a corporate function, the Dom Perignon room is equipped with a flat-screen television that can interface with all lap-tops to display “Powerpoint” presentations. The room can accommodate 10 guests directly viewing the flat-screen television.
The Mezzanine private dining room can accommodate up to 26 at one table, or as few as 12 for an intimate dinner. A special feature of this room is its’ reception area. There is ample room to mingle over a cocktail prior to taking your seats at the main table for dinner.
From a corporate perspective, the Mezzanine is versatile, It features a flat-screen television which when configuring the table in a “u-shape” allows 18 guests to comfortably view a “Powerpoint” presentation. Also the Mezzanine has an automated drop-down screen which enables the room to accommodate 2 parrallel tables holding as many as 32 guests, with the potential of a further 8 guests at a third table viewing the same presentation.
the cantina, located in the lower level, offers a very quiet, private dining experience. Perfect for important business dinners where privacy is of the upmost importance. The Cantina is capable of accommodating 14 guests for dinner.
This room also features two Flat-screen televisions linked together. 12 guests can comfortably view a presentation from the main table while a further 8 can sit at a table nearby viewing the same presentation on the second television.
Lower Level Lounge
The Lounge is a perfect venue for many styles of corporate functions. It can accommodate as many as 64 guests seated at a series of 6 tables while still providing ample room for a standing reception prior to dinner. It can also be arranged for as few as 32 guests seated at a series of four tables of 8.
Our lower level lounge is also a great venue for standing cocktail receptions. It is capable of accommodating as many as 150 for cocktail soirees.
It can also be used for doing large presentations. We have the ability of arranging the space to accommodate between 50 and 60 guests seated for dinner while viewing a presentation.
Is there a charge to use the private dining areas?
We don’t have a minimum structure but we expect at the very least for each guest in our private rooms to have a full-service meal consisting of 3 courses with wine.
How are beverage costs managed?
All beverages are based upon consumption and are subject to all applicable taxes. We do not offer fixed price-per-person bar packages.
How is the menu determined for my function?
We offer at all times various group menus. There is a certain amount of customization allowed with the group menus so long as the items requested are present on current A La Carte menu.
For large scale functions menus are completely original. These original menus are arrived at through preliminary meetings and pre-event tastings.
Does Centro supply any audio-visual equipment?
Each room is out-fitted with either or both a flat-screen television or automated drop down screen. Centro provides all functions in our lower level lounge a lavelier/ lapel microphone that interfaces with the in-house stereo system. There is no charge for its use.
We have numerous power cables to ensure that the necessary power requirements are met for you function.
If the audio or visual requirements exceed what Centro has on hand a third party will be needed for which the guest will be solely responsible.
Does Centro provide a printed menu?
We do print and inscribe, with colour logo, all menus for functions with no charge to the client.
Does Centro host weddings or large-scale functions?
Yes we do host weddings as well as large-scale corporate events. These are generally hosted in our main dining room with the cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served in the lower level lounge. We can comfortably seat as many as 136 guests in our main dining room. If you desire a dance-floor and band we can seat 120 guests.
