After spending the last 5 years as Sous-Chef on the culinary brigade while maintaining the title of Chef of Catering by Centro, Symon Abad was promoted to Executive Chef of Centro Restaurant on March 12th, 2012.
Symon Abad graduated from the Culinary Management program at George Brown College in 2000. He worked briefly at Terra restaurant under Chef Steven Perrin before moving on to Bistro 990 and Le Select Bistro. He joined the opening team at Brassaii under Chef David Adjey.
Symon joined Centro Restaurant & Lounge in 2007.
